Changing lives, Creating Smiles and Giving Hope

"Thank you for your generosity. Tonight there will be smoke coming from every household!" When Rose told me this was what one of the Turkana tribe members said to her I didn't understand what it meant. After spending a little more time with them I realized they were saying every family would be building a fire to cook with that night. This is not a daily guarantee for the people of the Kakwanyang village. Before the plane touched down in Lodwar you could feel the temperature rising in this desert like region. Rose and I were traveling with her friend, Pastor George who has already done some mission work in this area and had friends who could show us around the different villages. AND LET THERE BE LIGHT
There is a difference at TMSC at night, it was difficult for the children to study at night, one lantern was used on one table with 10 children and the light was not enough. You needed a lantern in your hand to move from room to room. Changing diapers wasn’t a nightmare! MMMMMMM! Now we can smile! Movement is just easy as there is light everywhere, rooms are bright, study room is bright and we are happy. The ball is now in our children’s hands, to work hard in their studies! We thank our friend Rhonda Boer who shared with the Directors of Rezeko Solar Company to help us have light. We are also very grateful to all the staff who worked hand in hand to make sure that everything has worked out. We thank the shipping company that enabled this container to arrive at Tumaini and all who were involved.
We are very grateful for the involvement of David Tharrats, church, hospital and all their friends who were involved to make this happen. We also thank God who enabled to come and be with us when the container arrived. May God bless you abundantly!
